How often should I use Actiiv Recover Conditioner?

Every other day. Use it on the same days as the Actiiv Recover Thickening Shampoo. Three times a week is the target. It's not designed for daily use.

Do I need the Actiiv Recover Shampoo, or can I use the conditioner on its own?

You can use it on its own, but it's designed to work as a system. The Actiiv Recover Thickening Shampoo is Step 1. The conditioner is Step 2. Using both on the same wash days gives you the full effect.
