why v's

1999

EST. BY MR. V

By the late '90s, the traditional American barbershop had all but vanished. Our founder Jim Valenzuela brought it back with a single shop in Phoenix's Arcadia neighborhood.

65+

LOCATIONS AND GROWING

We're a franchise business focused on expanding the right way. Each new shop carries the same blend of tradition and modernity, where the authentic barbershop experience is as important as the haircut.

fall 2026

OUR OWN GROOMING LINE

We couldn't find shave products good enough for the shop, so we made our own. By popular demand, we started selling them online. Now we're rolling out a full grooming line, each tested and approved by our barbers.

ABOUT V's BARBERSHOP

V's Barbershop is an established men's grooming brand and national barbershop franchise with 65+ locations, a growing e-commerce business, and a proprietary grooming product line. Our headquarters marketing team is small, fast-moving, and hands-on.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator is a versatile, do-it-all marketer and the operational backbone of V's marketing. Anchored in owning the marketing calendar and schedule, this person keeps every campaign, email, asset, and project on time and on brand across e-commerce, the national brand, and our franchise locations. There is also room to contribute ideas to campaign planning and marketing strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and maintain the marketing calendar and project-management system (Monday.com); keep all campaigns, launches, and deliverables on schedule across the business.
  • Manage the national-brand social media calendar: schedule and publish posts, coordinate the content pipeline, and hold contributors to deadlines.
  • Build, schedule, QA, and send email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo.
  • Coordinate external partners (web agency, paid-media agency, freelancers): brief them, manage timelines, and keep deliverables on track.
  • Support franchise locations: coordinate new-location marketing and tech setup and keep locations supplied with on-brand materials, working directly with owners.
  • Compile and organize performance reporting across GA4, Klaviyo, Shopify, and ad accounts.
  • Support new-store openings, the company's biennial Summit event, and franchise-sales marketing initiatives.
  • Serve as backup to the Brand Designer & Content Creator.
  • Contribute ideas to campaign planning and marketing strategy, and pitch in across marketing functions as needs arise.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing coordination, project coordination, or marketing operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through across many concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable holding teammates, agencies, and partners accountable to timelines.
  • Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn, tools such as Monday.com or Asana, social schedulers, GA4, Shopify, and Klaviyo.
  • Ability to thrive in a small, fast-paced, hands-on environment with minimal process.
  • A versatile, well-rounded marketer: strong at execution, with the range to contribute ideas across channels.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo and/or Shopify.
  • Experience supporting a multi-location, franchise, or retail business.
  • Familiarity with paid media (Meta/Google) and a strong sense for brand consistency.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $60,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Fully paid employee healthcare, 401K, work-from-home flexibility with independent hours, liberal vacation policy, product and service discounts.

HOW TO APPLY

Submit your professional resume, and a list of references. Deliver project examples if possible and/or a portfolio demonstrating work you have completed in various forms.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Brand Designer & Content Creator owns the design that defines how V's looks across social media, e-commerce, product packaging, and 65+ locations. • Comfortable shooting basic photo and short-form video (mobile is fine; social-native, not studio production).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced photography or video production, motion graphics and animation, email design (Klaviyo), or Shopify/e-commerce experience.
  • Interest in the barbershop, men's grooming, or men's lifestyle space.
  • Discernment in using AI tools to enhance output and efficiency, never at the expense of quality work.
